vast knowledge and still much more to learn

here is a short list of programs and other things i am experienced with.

Photoshop experience:

i've been using photoshop for approx. 7 years. almost anything and everything graphical wise, i create using adobe photoshop. in the past i have created car skins for a game called Midtown Madness and Midtown Madness 2 by Microsoft.

i'm also currently in the process of working on a MODIFICATION for valve's Half-Life 2 game. i've been brought onto the modification team as the lead 3d model maker and skin designer. i've been on the bleach team for two months and already i have learned many many new skills that i know will further my advancement as both an artist and a 3d designer.

Dreamweaver experience:

when i first began using dreamweaver in the past, i noticed that a lot of the coding i did then was nothing by comparison. i used to create all of my websites using dreamweaver, but after learning how to code everything freehand, it has become almost useless to me as a web page designer.

however, i still use dreamweaver to check coded web pages for errors. while it was a great tool in the past to learn new things, it still is a great tool for checking errors.

Cinema 4D experience:

ah, wonderful cinema 4d. i have always been a fan of abstract models and graphics. ever since i learned of cinema 4d's existance i knew i had to try it out. i never did much actual modeling with cinema 4d, however, i did do alot of abstract renders. mostly for signatures, but also for wallpapers.

3D Studo Max experience:

this is where i perform all of my human, alien, vehicle, weapon, clothing, and hair modeling. it was extremely hard for me at first to even use the interface of 3dsm. at first i wasnt very enthused by learning something this difficult, but with some forced effort and patience my first model started to show, a stealth fighter plane.

there is still a lot i dont know about 3dsm, but i am constantly learning new things about it. it has become my primary 3d design tool for any project.

HTML experience:

HTML. the basic coding language. the first step to creating a web page. ah, good times. i can write and perform any needed project based on using HTML.

CSS experience:

Cascading Style Sheets. no web designer is good without it. by becoming the most popular web coding language on the web, it has really earned its place in the digital world.

when i first really learned about css, i was amazed at what you could accomplish with such a simple language. at first i was just doing link coding, then i moved onto special effects you can use to define text and link. after that, i moved onto coding whole websites in css.

while new techniques are still being worked on, i think css would be my favorite language out of all of them.

PHP experience:

PHP is a wonky language at first glance, but it is also easy to learn with some patience. bulletin boards to forms to massive communites such as myspace. php is a really fun coding language.

i've done various things with php. from such things as having a community similar to the way myspace is setup (not nearly as big, mind you) to having high quality upload sites (such as imageshack or rapidshare). i'm still pretty new to php, but i would love to work with it even more and in the future come out with my own scripts that will help other new designers looking for help.

MySQL experience:

mysql can be tedious but a lot of fun also. i've worked on various private servers which use mysql for basicly everything database wise. i've worked with such games as World of Warcraft,Conquer Online, and Lineage II.

Custmer Service experience:

i did customer service for a DISH network back in 2005. that was more of a temporary job, but i worked there for about 7 months before i turned to freelance work. i also did customer support for 5 months for WoWgasm.org as a GameMaster.

Tech Support experience:

i've done various forms of tech support in the past. with WoWgasm.org i did a lot of tech support based on the game and problems people were having with either XP or Vista. on a daily basis it seems i am constantly giving support to friends about a long list of problems.

Hardware Installation experience:

my brother jason and i had a small job together doing hardware installation and software support. he continues doing that as a hobby. i used to build computers from scratch then tear them apart and try new parts out when i was younger. in the recent months i have built comptuers for friends online and shipped them out to them. i also have been doing that here locally and across the state.
